3STAR Sally Red is scored VG-86 as a 2-yr-old!
The first calver Trent-Way-Js Ronald RC 3STAR Sally Red - owned by John van Oldeniel and GenHotel - calved in March at 1.11 years old. In the meantime she has grown into a fantastic 2-yr-old, which was also confirmed by her score of VG-86 last week!
Sally Red's dam HWH Super Mouse RDC was sold by Heinrich Weckesser to Van Oldeniel and GenHotel during the VOST Select Sale in 2018. Her RZG profile showed high levels, a 153 gRZG and top health traits at that time. The line from which she descends goes back to Tidy-Brook Elton Steph VG 86, a cow family that produced several daughterproven bulls, such as Garrido, Etazon Addison, Big Point and Tidy-Brook Steven. In addition to Ronald RDC daughter Sally, two Westcoast Swingman-Red daughters were born, both of whom are in production and performing well.
The own pregnancy from 3STAR Sally Red VG-86, VG-88 TY (141 gRZG / 129 EUT / 135 gRZE), sired by the high RZG & NVI bull Rammstein-Red, resulted in the birth of daughter 3STAR Shirley Red. Her genomics results are outstanding with 161 gRZG and 317 NVI! In addition, she also tests high for gISU in France and transmits great conformation in all systems. With this, the next, red-and-white generation from the Elton Steph family is ready to rumble!
