Willsbro K&L Nugget Aderyn RDC now good for VG-87!
During the latest classification at Visstein dairy farm, some females from prominent cow families were rescored. One of the classified animals was the fifth calver, Willsbro Nuggett Aderyn RDC, whose grandson was promoted to proven sire during the April proof run.
Brood cow Willsbro K&L Nugget Aderyn RDC calved for the fifth time in November 2023 and has produced over 60 offspring during her 9-year-old age, including the bull K&L SV Adrian Salvatier - the current no. 8 ranked proven sire in Spain. The red carrier cow sired by Willsbro Nugget RDC, received a score of VG-86 as a heifer and has now developed enormously as a very dairy-like cow with an udder that she carries high and is also high-attached. Her score was upgraded to VG-89 FR - EX-92 DS - VG-87 MS - GP-83 FL - TOT VG-87.
A number of her daughters have also made a name for themselves in the European Holstein market. For example, Crown-Red daughter Visstein 3STAR Adiva Red VG-87 has been used as a bull dam, K&L GT Aderyn Red GP-84 (by Great-Red) has been an important link in the joint breeding program of Poppe Holsteins and GenHotel, and - of course - the well-known multiple bull dam Mr Salvatore RC daughter Visstein K&L SV Aderina Red VG-89 cannot be missed in this sum-up as well. Her Tirsvad Match P RDC son Visstein K&L Money P Red has become the number 1 proven Red Holstein bull in Germany last April. Both Aderyn RDC VG-87 and her daughter Aderina Red VG-89 were professionally photographed again last week.

The offspring from Dutch brood cow Barnkamper Octavia 7 have also played a significant role in this herd. For example, a first calver by Visstein K&L Banner is doing great and scored VG-86, and 2-yr-old Visstein Octandy RF (Andy-Red x Guard x Mission P) was awarded with 85 points. Visstein Patricia, a first calver Double W Ranger which traces through the Holbra Paulona line back to Golden Oaks Mark Prudence EX-95, calved at 1.11 years and received a score of VG-85 AV.
Housed and milked at the Visch dairy farm, is the first lactation 3STAR OH Maline. She is a Peak AltaZazzle daughter, bred by De Oosterhof and GenHotel, and sold to Flevo Genetics during the 2021 GenHotel Selection Sale. Maline, who is currently testing 2896 gTPI and 146 gRZG, was flushed several times in order to fulfill contracts and has, by doing so, aldready produced more than 15 offspring. Not only does she produce very well, the K&L OH Mabel granddaughter was awarded with VG-85. Her highest female descendants are Diekers 3STAR Manar s. Revolution (3070 gTPI, 309 gNVI & 152 gRZG) and her full sister Visstein Fg Malissa. Malissa is one of the top NVI Holstein heifers with 374 gNVI and also scores 3020 gTPI and 150 gRZG. Malina VG-85 is a sister of multiple bull dam 3STAR OH Mazzeli and a maternal-sister of the Swiss-born and fresh calved 3STAR OH Augustus Ogusta RDC (by Drouner K&L Augustus P Red).
