Sudena Holsteins' classification highlights!
Apina Massia 172 VG-87, 3rd dam of the classified Massia 4 Red
Several young cows from Sudena Holsteins were recently classified by the Dutch herdbook classifier. The first calvers represented different cow families and their bloodlines. Here are some highlights for you!
Sudena Massia 4 Red, a Timmer Torrox daughter, was one of the highest scored 2-yr-olds from the Mensink family, with a score of VG-86 (VG-88 DS). Her granddam is Apina Massia 246 RDC VG-87 (by Solero) which was the number 1 gNVI Solero daughter in her time. This Massia branch is well-known for her enormous fat and protein production. Sudena Annie 12, a first lactation Kenmore Triple Crown-Red, also received a VG-86 score with VG-88 for her Dairy Strength.
A direct daughter of brood cow De Oosterhof Dg Rose RDC VG-89, named Sudena Rosanne RDC, was recently scored for the first time. She calved at the age of 2 years from an Abraxas Red P heifer calf and received a score of VG-85, with a particularly impressive VG-88 score for her mammary. Rosanne is one of five Andy daughters out of Rose RDC, they show an averagse score of 84.6. Notable family members include proven bull Sudena Safari Red, Cristella Real Red, Vekis Risk, and of course the big icon Lakeside Ups Red Range Red VG-86.

Additionally, the top-producing Wietske cow family has delivered Sudena Josje 9. This daughter of former number 1 progeny proven sire OH DG Topstone calved at the age of 2.04 years and was classified with VG-85, with her type awarded with VG-88. Josje's fourth dam is Big Wietske 83 VG-88, the dam of the proven Big Spell.
