Wilder Holsteins & Plataan Holsteins honored at HighlightSale

During the HighlightSale at the 10th of January, the RUW took a moment to honor breeders of sires which are in RUW's AI station. Two of GenHotels members were honored during the 'Züchterehrung' and they both recieved a picture of their bred sires. Wilder Holsteins was awared for breeding the red sire Wil Laser PP and Plataan Holsteins got in the spotlights because of its Plataan RUW Avenue.
The impressive, proven sire Wil Laser PP is a polled, red sire from the mating Label P x VG-86 Ladd P. He brings good rumps with dairyness, great mammary systems with healthy udders, great resistance to foot diseases and good components. At this moment there are 120 daughters of Laser PP in milk in Germany. His dam WIL Kylie P VG-86 (s. Ladd P) is also dam of the sire Wilder Dukat P (s. Debutant). This cowfamily is known for its great show type combined with high milkproduction, and scores great in multiple genomic systems.

Arie Aanen & Erik van der Plaat (Plataan Holsteins) also enjoyed their moment on stage. They got honored for breeding the sire Plataan RUW Avenue. From this proven Anton son was at this HighlightSale also a progeny group present. In a previous news story we already described this group as a group with great rear udders and udder attachments and with stunning udder clefts. The Avenue daughters showed strong feet and legs and haved very correct rump angles with enough width. The number of daughters which are in milk is +/- 140. Avenue's profile shows terrific healthtraits, super traits for calving ease and appealing functionality. His pedigree shows six times in a row VG or EX!
