Update Diepenhoek Holsteins, including 3STAR SIE Sharon Red
Adriaans' latest addition: 3STAR SIE Sharon Red
Now that Diepenhoek Holsteins has decided to stop milking cows and only raise young stock, it gives them the opportunity to own heifers from various cow families and flush the most interesting heifers, so they are still involved in the Holstein genomics breeding.
At the moment, the donors page of the Adriaans family contains seven genetically top heifers from different cow families. When you think of Diepenhoek Holsteins, you associate this name with the famous Rozelles and the Chanels, which go back to the Larcrest Juror Chanel EX-93. But in recent years the herd was also expanded with some other impressive cow families!
Last year, during the GenHotel Selection Sale, Adriaans made a swing for the high Star P RDC daughter Sanderij Rita's Romy P RDC, a polled descendant from the Willem's-Hoeve Rita's with 154 gRZG, bred by De Sanderij. Her genomics profile also reflects a nice amount of milk with a large plus in components. Her 129 gRZN, 120 gRZGes, 120 EUT and 127 gRZE also stand out. A maternal brother of Romy P RDC, Sanderij RUW Matrix Red, has been purchased by RUW and belongs to the top R&W genomics bulls in Germany with 158 gRZG.
There are now embryos from Romy P RDC available, produced with the no. 1 homozygous polled, red sire in Germany. You can find these embryos in the GenHotel EmbryoSale (click here).
4th Dam: Poppe Red Hot Rita 860 Red VG-87
With 2981 gTPI (973 NM$) Diepenhoek 3STAR Mabel, purchased as an embryo, is a great asset to Adriaans' breeding program. Mabel, as her name suggests, is a Peak AltaWheelhouse daughter from the influential branch of K&L OH Mabel. Dam 3STAR OH Martini VG-86 (BB A2A2) is still one of the highest scoring Silverridge V Einstein daughters in Europe, with 2848 gTPI at the age of 2.5 yrs. During the VOST Select Sale 10, Mabel's full sister Diepenhoek 3STAR Tual was sold to Spain for € 5,200. In a few months, this high AltaWheelHouse at Diepenhoek Holsteins will already be in the flush program.

From the proven Larcrest Juror Chanel EX-93 family, Adriaans bought Waldclass 3STAR HS Chanel 3 PP, a homozygous polled KNS Simon P-daughter from K&L HS Chanel P. After a few flushes, she is now pregnant and will calve for the first time in March. Her first offspring, by RBB Caden P, was born last December: Diepenhoek 3STAR Cosmo PP. She too is homozygous polled and transmits 154 gRZG, 125 gRZN, 126 gRZGes and 128 gRZE!
Based on gNVI, Diepenhoek Rozelle 250 ranks high in the top NL&FL ranking. The 2.5-month-old VDR Shakespeare traces in four generations back to Diepenhoek Rozelle 56 VG-86. She tests 369 gNVI and is currently the number 1 gNVI Shakespeare on the black-and-white basis.
The most recent investment for Diepenhoek Holsteins is the R&W 3STAR SIE Sharon Red. This Delta Cartoon P-Red scores high on NVI basis and also in Germany. She is therefor the highest testing daughter of the great 2-yr-old Schuit Solana P Red! With no less than 162 gRZG (2679 gRZ€/128 gRZR) and 357 gNVI, Sharon Red steals the show. Her tremendous will for production, 121 gRZS, 128 RZGes and 118 FUN, also makes her stand out. Sharon originates from Royal Flash RDC (by Styx Red), purchased several years ago by Haytema. She easily breeds red offspring with high indexes in multiple systems. The now third lactation Flash RDC, granddam of Sharon Red, is the full sister of the progeny proven BG Radames RDC, a huge conformation transmitter at OHG. Further down this pedigree we find fifth dam KNS Rendezvouz VG-85. This is the dam of the well-known sire and also worldwide used KNS Boss and also the granddam of KNS Comedy in Italy!
