The Dutch Red Holstein top-5 ranking is shuffled once again!

GenHotel has just received results from Aalshorst Holsteins. They have four polled full sisters born from the combination of Patton P-Red x Launch PP Red. One of the calves has achieved an impressive NVI result, making her the current number 4 gNVI in the Dutch & Flanders ranking with a score of 405 gNVI.

Aalshorst Geertje 380 P Red has exceeded all expectations and has revived the well-known Dutch Aalshorst Geertje family with this outstanding result. The early Delta Patton P-Red has set a high standard with an excellent total index and is, besides the overall no. 4 also the no. 3 gNVI Red polled heifer. Additionally, her test shows +0.51% fat, +0.15% protein, 1086 LVD and 107 total conformation.

Aalshorst Geertje 376, a Borax-Red daughter of a full sister to Geertje 380 P Red's dam Aalshorst Geertje 349 P Red, has achieved a gNVI of 351, placing her at the top along with Aalshorst Geertje 382 P Red, another full sister of Geertje 380 P Red,  with a gNVI score of 351 as well.

The Geertje cow family of the Scholten family recently received national attention during the Nationale Roodbont Show. A progeny group of the top proven sire Aalshorst Rody Red was showcased. Aalshorst Pleasure, another well-known daughter proven bull, also comes from this deep line.

Bouw Holsteins recently introduced Bouw Shake Romy Red, a daughter of Blumenfeld RUW Shake Red from the De Oosterhof Dg Rose RDC VG-89 line of Golden-Oaks Mark Prudence EX-95. With 398 gNVI, 2625 kgsM and 114 CGT, Bouw Shake Romy Red ranks 5th among all NVI tested red heifer calves.
