Successful purchase De Sanderij at GenHotel Selection Sale!
K&L MN Flora Red, just fresh!
In 2019, during the GenHotel Selection Sale, K&L MN Flora Red was purchased by Red Holstein fans Johan & Siepie Hietbrink. They were very charmed by Flora her maternal line, which traces back to Morningview Super Roxy RDC EX-90, combined with her 160 gRZG with 123 EUT and 148 RZM (2018-12). This all made Flora Red a very interesting heifer, so she moved to De Sanderij dairy farm.
Both K&L MN Flora Red her dam and granddam received VG-86 as 2-yr-olds and easily produce above 10,000kg of milk in 305 days. Her dam K&L MW Flora Red VG-86 (s. Mega-Watt) was flushed several times with sires such as My Dream P RDC, Spark Red and Manana Red. The flush with the last named bull delivered not only K&L MN Flora Red, but also her full brother K&L Mannish Red @RUW as a result from the 3STAR Breeding Program.
Meanwhile, the Manana Red daughter is just fresh from her first calf and what a great milking heifer, with above all a very nice mammary, she has become! K&L MN Flora Red is still very fresh, but her appearance, current 2645M, 112 CGT and 320 gNVI promise a lot for the future. She also transmittes NVI & RZG very well to her offspring! In short, a very successful GenHotel Selection Sale purchase.
