And again there was a very high genomic proof for a member of the Poppe Pietje family. Poppe Pietje 1041 Red is a Bolt RF from Poppe Pietje 721 RDC, the full sister to Poppe Snow RF (Snowman x Poppe Pietje 519-Red). Pietje 1041 scores +302 GNVI is and ammong the highest genomic tested heifers in the Netherlands. On German base she also scores +152 GRZG.
This is one of the best R&W cowfamilies in the Netherlands. Bulls such as Snow RF, Eragon-Red, Elspe-Red, Red Mist, Tequila en Red Tumult also hail from this family.
