Koepon Sprg Classy 233 by AltaSpring, raised her score to EX-90!

The classification at Koepon Genetics resulted in an average of VG-85.2 points for the milking 2-yr-olds. In addition, there was an extra special highlight for the fifth calver Koepon Sprg Classy 233, a Westenrade AltaSpring from the Koepon Classy family.

As a 2-yr-old Classy 233 already was scored VG-85, after she was heavily used as an embryo donor at Koepon Genetics. A pregnancy with the French bull Nuberon resulted in the birth of a bull calf, namely Koepon Exponent, which attracted the attention of the Dutch AI KI Kampen. During the Koepon Summer Sale last summer, a Koepon Random daughter of her was sold and exported to the UK. Last November, the AltaSpring calved for the fifth time and manages to achieve a current lifetime production of 84,177 kgs of milk with 4.17% fat and 3.59% protein sofar. During the recent classification Classy 233 increased her score to no less than EX-90 with EX-91 DS & MS. The excellent Classy is also the maternal sister of Koepon Rubi Classy 267 (by Rubicon), the granddam of Koepon Showking @Swiss Genetics and Koepon Marpon @Qnetics. Also daughter Koepon Random Classy (by Koepon Random) was scored this day, with VG-85 and VG-88 MS!

There was also more success at the 2-yr-old-front, where two Regan-Joy Durham Regenia EX-92 descendants received total scores  of VG-88! For example, Delta Yes daughter Koepon Yes Ruby 56, which calved in June 2022 and received VG-89 MAX for both Type and Mammary, in addition to her VG-88. Ruby 56 her 305-days lactation is projected at 11,039 kgs of milk with 4.32% fat and 3.54% protein! Her granddam is dam to proven sires Koepon Peak AltaZarek and Koepon Peak Tosco. Herdmate and family member Koepon Epic Regenia 274 managed to score VG-88, just like her dam Koepon Slm Regenia 249 at that age. The Epic daughter from the, in the meantime now VG-89 scored OCD Spring Slamdunk dam, was extra admired for her feet and legs, which are good for a maximum score of VG-89. The VG-89 Slamdunk is still present, has calved for the fourth time this month from a Siemens Parfect heifer and has completed her third lactation with 14,458 kgs of milk with 4.06 fat% and 3.25 protein%.

Highest red heifer, with VG-87 points and VG-88 for mammary, is a Wilder Mark RDC from the well-known Koepon Slvtr Sanne 8 Red VG-88, the full sister of Koepon AltaTop. Two direct daughters from Lakeside Ups Red Range VG-86 also were scored this round. One of them is Koepon OH Rubels Range 17 Red (2765 gTPI), the dam of  high genomic young sires Koepon Sirius P Red and Koepon Fenix Red and full sister of the top bull 3STAR OH Ranger Red. The VG-86 scored Range 17 Red has female offspring up to 162 gRZG, including Koepon Cartoon P Range 177 Red (by Cartoon P Red) with 162 gRZG and 124 gRZE. Koepon Top Range 19 Red, a Koepon AltaTop-Red from the Global Red Impact Cow and thus full sister of the bull Koepon AltaRefine-Red, was good for VG-86. For international AI-studs she was very interesting, because of her high ISET, top RZG and fantastic TPI. Flushes have been done in order to generate several high offspring. This has led to Koepon Frisbee Range 162 Red (with 159 gRZG) and Koepon Freestyle Range 110 Red, which is sold to Switzerland with 154 gRZG, 4546 gPFT &  1680 gISET.
