Gerco Fonkert and Henk Westerveld, owners of WKF Holsteins, have received their 'key' for the GenHotel membership. After several high female genomic results and the purchase of 3STAR OH Maline, these partners want to make a venture into top genetics by increasing their international opportunities.
WKF Holsteins owns, partly through the purchase of embryos, heifers from strong and proven cow families. One of these beauties is WKF Copy Marlies, a Regan-Danhof Copyright daughter of Veelhorst Melody VG-87, from the Vekis Xaco Melody VG-87 family. She scores high in several systems, like 160 gRZG, 2805 gTPI and 5258 gICO. This makes Marlies the highest scoring daughter of Melody VG-87 based on gRZG!

Earlier this year, WFK Holsteins had the chance to buy 3STAR OH Maline (by Peak AltaZazzle) at the GenHotel Selection Sale. A heifer with a very interesting genomic profile that shows a sky high 2909 gTPI and 158 gRZG. Maline's dam is K&L OH Mallory, a De-Su Kenobi out of multiple bull dam K&L OH Mabel. This line manages to substain high gTPI scores. Maline her granddam Mabel manages to maintain her genomic score at 2823 gTPI at the age of 3.5 years and is one of the highest milking females in Europe.
