Jacobs GA Brettonia during her first classification
In 2021, a Croteau Lesperron Unix granddaughter of the legendary Jacobs Goldwyn Britany EX-96, was sold to the Netherlands by Agrarproduktion Goldene Aue GmbH & Dirk Bengstein during the VOST Select Sale 9. She is now at the end of her first lactation, and her offspring are also doing exceptionally well too!
At the 2021 sale, Jacobs GA Brettonia was over four months old and caught everyone's attention with her impressive seven times EX-generation pedigree. Her granddam, Jacobs Goldwyn Britany EX-96, was - and still is - widely recognized for winning numerous major titles and awards, including Canada Cow of the Year 2017 and Grand Champion International Holstein Show Quebec 2011. Britany EX-96 recently received the title 36 Stars Brood Cow, and she has 15 Excellent and 43 Very Good classified daughters, just in Canada alone!
Dam: Jacobs Doorman Barcelone EX-90 (Doorman x Goldwyn Britany EX-96)
Brettonia was purchased by two Dutch young breeders, Jelle Bauke Broos and Johan Duindam, who made their first foray into top breeding with this Unix daughter. In 2022, they proudly showcased Brettonia at the Veekeuring Noord-Friesland, where she achieved a second position. After calving in September 2023, she began her first lactation strongly and was subsequently classified VG-86 (VG-87 Udder). Brettonia is currently producing around 30kgM and is expected to calve from Stantons Chief mid-November.
DBH Britany (Arrow x VG-86 Brettonia)
Several offspring were born from the combination with sire DG NH Arrow, including DBH Britany. Britany, just like her dam, participated in the show ring of Noord-Friesland and secured a third-place last July, and joining to the finals as well.
