P.R. Darlina 2 VG-89 during her successful debut at the Fokveedag Hoornaar 2022
The second calver Stone-Front Artist daughter P.R. Darlina 2 freshened for the 2nd time early this year. As a 2-yr-old she already received a beautiful score of VG-88. The Snow-N Denises Dellia EX-95 offspring, bred by Piet van Rees, was re-classified shortly after starting her 2nd lactation.
With a projected 305-days production of 12,222 kgs of milk with 4.21% fat and 3.34% protein, the Artist daughter has started her second lactation well. In Darlina 2's pedigree, which contains 9 generations of VG/EX in a row, we find big names such as HBC Goldwyn Daydream EX-91 by Goldwyn, the Junior 2-yr-old B&W Champion of the NRM 2012 and HBC Daydream VG-89, the maternal sister to DH Goldchip Darling EX-96 her dam!
The re-scoring of P.R. Darlina 2 brought an upgrade to VG-89 with VG-89 for her Mammary. The score in her second lactation offers a great perspective for her future. With dam PR Darlina EX-90 and PR Darla EX-90 as granddam, there's a great possibility for Van Rees to breed the future third excellent generation in a row! Last fall, Darlina 2 VG-89 won 1st place in her class at the Fokveedag Hoornaar and made it to the finals.
