Diekers 3STAR OH Florijn Red classified!
Great news coming from Diekers Holsteins (Eiting family) as the first calver, Diekers 3STAR OH Florijn Red, received a classification score earlier this week. Florijn Red is a Poppe Freestyle-Red daughter out of bull dam Diekers K&L DL Whiskey RDC VG-85 and she is a result of the 3STAR Embryo Program that the Eiting family has been participating in since 2016.
Diekers Holsteins has several milkers in their herd now from the 3STAR Embryo Program, including Whiskey RDC. She was born in 2018 as a result of investing in four interesting embryos from the combination K&L SV Sunny x Peak AltaDateline. Whiskey RDC, who received a first score of VG-85 with VG-88MS, produced a total of 20 offspring, including the awesome Florijn Red. Diekers 3STAR OH Florijn Red classified VG-87 with VG-88DS and VG-88MS earlier this week.
The 2-yr-old Freestyle-Red was also used as a embryo donor and produced three polled offspring (up to 154 gRZG) from the combination with Tirsvad 3STAR Member PP Red, and a 158 gRZG scoring Koepon Sirius P Red daughter (you can visit the donor page here). Whiskey RDC, an important brood cow within the joint breeding program of Diekers Holsteins, De Oosterhof, and GenHotel, played a significant role.
Diekers K&L DL Whiskey RDC VG-85
One of the successful male offspring of Whiskey RDC VG-85 is Diekers 3STAR OH Fladderak RDC @Xenetica Fontao (full brother of Florijn Red). Another one is 3STAR OH Whisper Red, which was bought by Semex and is currently widely sold.
⇒ Poppe Freestyle Red was a much-used sire of sons within Europe. He is currently the number 3 progeny proven Red Holstein bull in the Netherlands. In Germany, his highest-ranked son is De Oosterhof 3STAR Fresco Red who is ranked 3rd. In the Netherlands, we find his son Delta Borax-Red in 6th place.
