Classy and Feikje brought Koepon some new highlights!

Recently, Koepon's 370 cows herd added two new highlights to the list of achievements when Koepon Sprs Classy 131 and Koepon Goldchip Feikje reached significant milestones.

The 11-year-old Seagull-Bay Supersire daughter Koepon Sprs Classy 131 reached a lifetime production of 100,018 kgM with 4.57% fat and 3.46% protein in 3002 days. In her fifth lactation back in 2020, the daughter of Koepon Milln Classy 54 VG-87 achieved an excellent score of EX-90. Not only does Classy 131 show longevity and great conformation, but she also served as a breeding cow for Koepon. With 17 offspring, she has had a significant influence on this herd. Four of her female offspring are still present, including the VG-88 Monterey daughter Koepon Mont Classy 314 in her fifth lactation.

Even in 2024, the famous Feikje family was still a topic at the World Dairy Expo stands. One of the descendants, located thousands of kilometers away from this world-known-show, managed to produce 10,000 kg of fat and protein at that same moment. This cow family, originally from the stable of the Dutch Klaas van der Ploeg, ended up at Koepon due to the emigration of this Frisian family to America. Almost two decades after the arrival of this cow family, partly due to the great success of the Range, Classy, and Doma lines, there are still a handful of Feikjes at Koepon. However, Koepon Goldchip Feikje EX-91 knows how to keep the family banner flying. After achieving 100,000 kgM and an excellent score, the Goldchip daughter was able to reach the 10,000 kg f+p mark in 3484 days with a total production of 128,960 kgM!
