The Poppe family recently invited the Dutch classifier, who has provided some nice young cows with their first score for Conformation. One of the highlights was Poppe 3STAR Black Angel RDC, a Delta Podcast daughter from the well-known breeding product of Rhala Holsteins and Excellent Genetics: Rhala Ex Blackrose RDC!
The VOST Select Sale 2019 purchase Blackrose RDC brought more than 20 offspring for owners Poppe Holsteins and GenHotel. Although the red factor Delta Jacuzzi-Red from the Ralma Juror Faith EX-91 cow family has unfortunately never calved, she managed to pass on her strong genes to her offspring. For example, the aforementioned Poppe 3STAR Black Angel RDC (A2A2) freshened with a polled and red heifer by Delta Drone PP-Red in February. And a flush with Delta Flagstone resulted in the bull Poppe 3STAR Black Stone, which is purchased by the dutch AI-stud CRV. The 2.03 year old Podcast is projected at 10.403 kgM with 4.09% fat and 3.53% protein in 305 days and is classified VG-85 with VG-87 MS. In three generations, Black Angel RDC VG-85 leads back to Bouw Goli Flower VG-87, the dam of the daughterproven sire Bouw Rocky!
The highest score of the day went to 3STAR RM Kanzia Red, a Koepon AltaTop-Red, jointly owned by Ritmaster Holsteins and GenHotel. With a score of VG-87 points and a great VG-88 scoring mammary, Kanzia Red is currently one of the highest scored AltaTop-Red daughters in the Netherlands. Dam K&L RM Kanuzi Red is an early, second calver Delta Jacuzzi-Red with sky-high genomics for components and health traits. The Wilder Kalibra RDC VG-88 granddaughter purchased by Bouw Holsteins sold some embryos from which this Kanzia Red is born.

From Poppe's own herd Poppe Pietje 2112 Red, result from a 100% Poppe mating, was also classified. She is a first lactation Poppe Efrain daughter from the Huyben Pietje 514 cow family, from which sires Tequila and Red Tumult originate. Dam Poppe Pietje 1264 Red (by Poppe Snow RF) achieved a lifetime production of 49,338 kgsM in four lactations and delivered three female offspring. The first calver Efrain hits a daily production of about 37 kgsM and scored VG-86 with VG-87 mammary.
