3STAR Breeding Program delivers the Swiss top heifer Layla!
Dykster 3STAR Ronald Layla SG (Trent-Way-Js Ronald RDC x K&L PC Deltia Red)
The very youthful and just fresh Dykster 3STAR Ronald Layla SG was recently photographed at her Swiss owner Nicola Pedrini. As an embryo, Layla was imported by Swiss Genetics. This package of six embryos from the combination Trent-Way-Js Ronald RDC x K&L PC Deltia Red, exported by Dykster Holsteins & GenHotel to Switzerland, resulted in the birth of five calves!
One of these calves is the 16 days fresh photographed Dykster 3STAR Ronald Layla SG, a first calver and red Ronald RDC x Pace-Red x Anderstrup Nugget Dana Red VG-88 x Anderstrup Aikman Dellia RDC VG-89 - Denmark's highest production 2-year-old in 2017. With fantastic figures in Layla's Swiss profile, namely 1616 gISET, 139 IPL & 125 EUT, she shows - just like her dams - an enormous will to produce. Even as a young heifer Layla scored a very high index in the gISET system, which made her the former #1 R&W female for gISET!
In addition to Layla, three full sisters were born in Switzerland from this combination and also one bull. This bull, Dykster 3STAR Ewing SG, managed to grow into a true icon within the Swiss Red Holstein breeding. The now two-year-old Ewing can already be found several proof runs in a row in the top R&W gISET! With a score of 1596 gISET the full brother of Layla, supplied by Dykster Holsteins & GenHotel (3STAR Genetics), is the current number 4 in Switzerland!
Dykster 3STAR Ewing SG (Ronald RDC x Pace-Red)
From granddam Anderstrup Nugget Dana Red VG-88, the full brother of Layla's dam, K&L PC Deltia Red, namely Anderstrup Panders-Red, is also available at Swiss Genetics. This bull scored 1457 gISET in December 2022 and thus ended up in 30th place in the top R&W ranking. The Pace-Red son is expected to receive his first daughter proven index in April.
