Three VG-87 2-yr-olds at Holbra Holsteins

Holbra Paulona VG-85, granddam of Lathoya 3 VG-87

Last week, 13 two-yr-olds at Holbra Holsteins scored an average of VG-85.6 points. The second calver Holbra Chaeyenne 1 (by Tarzan) was re-classified and raised her score to VG-86.

This classification is highlighted by three two-year-olds with a score of VG-87. Two of these milking heifers are maternal sisters, namely S-S-I Modesty Pinnacle daughter Holbra Sonya 4 and Holbra Sonya 2 (by Claynook Casper). Sonya 2 VG-87 made her show debut last September and won the Junior B&W Championship at a local show. The VG-87 Pinnacle and VG-87 Casper are daughters of Holbra Sonya VG-87 (by Bandares), who recently calved for the third time.

Holbra Lathoya 3 also received VG-87. She is a S-S-I Modesty MagicTouch, descending via VG-85 Eclair x VG-85 Lauthority from Holbra Paulona VG-85 (v. Bolton). Lathoya 3 VG-87 is projected at 11,104 kgs of milk with 4.04% fat and 3.45% protein in 305 days. 

Holbra Heather 2 (by Mastershot), belongs to the Holbra Lady Snow VG-88 branch of the Golden-Oaks Mark Prudence EX-95 family. She is classified VG-86 with VG-88 MS. Holmer sold embryos from Holbra Lady Snow VG-88 to a.o. Italy and Luxemburg. From which Lis-Leck Laguna 6992 VG-87, sired by S-S-I Bookem Morgan, was born at Lis Léck Holsteins.
