The Poppe Pietje family at Poppe Holsteins is a great branch of the Almere / Huyben Pietje family. Broodcow at Poppe Holsteins is Poppe Pietje 519-Red, a Spencer daughter and the dam of high genomic bulls such as Snow RF, Eragon-Red, Elspe-Red and Red Mist. Pietje 519 calved in November and produced 70 kg of milk in her second test!

In the top of the Dutch red/white GNVI list we can find several members of this great family. One of the most interesting daughters of Pietje 519 is her Snowman daughter Poppe Pietje 721 RDC. She still scores +295 GNVI (B&W basis) and is one of the highest milking RC cows. The #8 red/white is her Perfect Aiko daughter Poppe Pietje 948 Red with +345 GNVI. This maternal line of the Pietje family also does a great job on German scale. Pietje 948 proves this with +158 GRZG. Two full sisters of Pietje 948 are high as well. Poppe Pietje 961 RDC scores +293 GNVI and her full sister is in the black/white GNVI top 100. This Poppe Pietje 951 scores +344 GNVI and has +155 GRZG.
