Sale purchase Jacobs HAM Versace develops into a VG 2-yr-old!
Jacobs HAM Versace (Lambda x Unix x Doorman)
The young German breeders Johanna Ahrends & Erik Büscherhoff offered the pitch-black Farnear Delta-Lambda daughter, Jacobs HAM Versace, during the VOST Select Sale 10 in 2022. Her pedigree, linked to the Canadian Jacobs Doorman Victoire EX-95, elevated the anniversary sale to a new level. At 13 months old, Versace was purchased by a group of breeders in the Netherlands, where she is currently being successfully milked and has received her first classification.
Jacobs HAM Versace is a direct daughter of the Canadian Jacobs Unix Victoria, which was just fresh at the time of the VOST Select Sale in 2022. The Unix daughter from Doorman Victoire EX-95 - HM Grand Champion Royal 2019 and All American & All-Canadian Senior 3-yr-old 2019 - currently holds a VG-88 (EX-91 MS) classification.

During the sale, a group of fanciers from the Netherlands, namely Jenz v.d. Meer, Renate Wubbema, Jan v.d. Wal, Wim Veenstra, and Sytse Visbeek, took notice of Jacobs HAM Versace and eventually brought her to the Netherlands. In 2023, this group of owners consigned Versace at the Veekeuring Noord-Friesland, where she clinched her first title as Junior heifer Champion 2023. Shortly after, she also secured a class victory at the Rundvee Show Noord. In December of 2023, Versace gave birth to a heifer calf named Vienna through a pregnancy with Mr Chassity Gold Chip. She participated in the Rundvee Show Noord the following summer, just like her dam did a year earlier.

In March, Versace scored VG-86, making her the first Lambda daughter of Unix Victoria to achieve VG-86. Her full sister, Jacobs Lambda Vicky, scored VG-86 (VG-88 MS) in Canada a little later as well. In Switzerland, Jacobs Delta-Lambda Violet, another full sister of Versace VG-86, scored GP-84 (VG-86 MS). Versace, who is expected to calve for the second time at the end of this year and is pregnant by sexed Jacobs Shakiras Supreme (Destination x Erbackres Snapple Shakira RC EX-97).
