Rita 579 “Barones van de Marienwaerd

Willems Hoeve Rita 579 is the new "Barones van de Mariënwaerdt. The Sanchez daughter out of the Willems Hoeve herd looked tremendous and takes over this title from herdmate Willems Hoeve Rita 670 (s. Cricket) who was the very first Barones van de Mariënwaerdt last year.

NRM Champion
Rita 579 is no stranger in the showring, just as several of her family members. She is the Junior Champion of the NRM 2012 and via daughters of Goldwyn and Marshall she traces back at Willems Hoeve Rita 233A (Lord Lily x Sunny Boy x F16).
Rita 579 was placed over Shottle daughter Malderick Annele 605 owned by Mts. Rooijen-Anker. Annele was also named Reserve Champion. Despite the great quality of cattle shown in Beesd Rita 579 still managed to be an easy overall champion.

2yr olds
Willems Hoeve Rita 14 (Explode x Paramount x Duplex x Jesther x Rita 233A), a herd and familymember of Rita 579, was shown as a 2yr old. The Explode daughter was placed first in her class. Eventualy she was named Honorable Mention behind Molenkamp Klaske 8 from Molenkamp Holsteins en JK Eder Darling van JK Eder Holsteins. Darling was named Champion and Klaske 8 (Charity Gratis x Goldwyn x Restha x Champion x Alta Klaske 1) Reserve.
In the eldest 2yr old class there was a third place for Vanholland Rochelle, the Atwood daughter owned by GenHotel member Van Holland Holsteins.

Red/white
In the red/white show there was success for Bacchus Holsteins. Their Elayo daughter Saskia was named Senior Champion. Molenkamp Anky 6 (Andy) from Molenkamp Holsteins was placed first in her class. In the battle for Junior Champion she had to compete against second calvers which was "a bridge to far.
