Next week, NRP Holsteins will sell auction an early Golden-Oaks A Turbo-Red daughter out of the Kamps-Hollow Durham Altitude RDC EX-95 via the GenHotel Selection Sale, with no less than 11 generations high scored dams!
NRP Avina Red (sells as lot 16) combines two of the finest American Red Holstein pedigrees of the moment, namely: Pottsdale-Dfi Tang-Red EX-94 (dam of Turbo-Red) and Kamps-Hollow Durham Altitude RDC EX-95. Her maternal line brought a lot of success in the show ring, to think that fifth dam KHW Goldwyn Aiko RDC EX-91 is a sister of none other than KHW Regiment Apple Red EX-96. Both Avina's dam and granddam can still be admired in their birth barn. Granddam NRP Alisha RDC VG-89 produced 63,598 kgs of milk with 4.87% fat and & 3.65% protein, in 1994 days so far. Her excellent dam Amberlee Red EX-90 (EX-92 DS) is a huge dairy cow with a super udder and shows feminity by her long clean neck and head. In 2021, she was crowned with the title of 'Best Red' at the Veekeuring Fryslân 2021.
Aside from this line that descends from NRP Alisha RDC, there is also an index line that originated from her daughters Batouwe Ailisha Salva Red VG-86 and Red Hot Alisha VG-85. Batouwe Salsa Aiko Red VG-85, a well-known brood cow, also comes from this branch as she is the sister to Alisha RDC.
