P.R. Darlina 2 is upgraded to EX-90!
During the classification at Schep Holsteins, where breeder Piet van Rees got three of his cows classified, was one of his standout P.R. Darlina 2. She is a third calver Stone-Front Artist daughter who upgradet her score to EX. With Darlina 2 the family delivered its 5th generation of Excellent in a row.
The snow-white P.R. Darlina 2 has gained recognition in the show ring over the past few years. Her most recent victory was the Intermediate Honorable Mention of Hoornaar last year. Following another lactation, this Artist daughter from the Future Dream H. Darina EX-90 / Snow-N Denises Dellia EX-95 cow family increased her score to EX-90 with EX-92 Mammary. This also makes Darlina 2 the first excellent daughter in the Netherlands of the American sire Stone-Front Artist.
An important branch for PR Holsteins is that of the multiple bull dam & Global Cow of the year 2015, Ammon-Peachey Shauna EX-92. Since the introduction of his first Shauna descendant, several successful generations have been bron from this remarkable cow family under the wings of Piet van Rees. For example, during the classification, the first calver Peak Tropic daughter, P.R. Lucia 1, was scored. She received VG-87 with VG-88 for her udder. P.R. Dyanne 2 (by Tropic) also received her first score and was good for VG-86. Their dams are full sisters sired by King Doc and are direct daughters of PR Shauny VG-88.
