Outstanding 3STAR result with 2951 gTPI sells at the VOST Select Sale 10!
3STAR OH Martini at Southland Holsteins
The desire of the Van Beek family (Southland Holsteins) to reach the top gTPI was that large that in 2020 they became co-owners of 3STAR OH Martini, a beautiful Silverridge V Einstein out of multiple bull dam K&L OH Mabel. Martini, scoring 2889 gTPI at that time, is Mabel's highest Einstein daughter and still at a current gTPI of 2867. And she is the actual number 1 gTPI milking Einstein in Europe!
Martini freshened for the first time mid-September and started up quickly and has a daily production now of almost 40 kgs of milk. After one milk recording she is projected to produce 10,088 kgs of milk with 4.24% fat and 3.59% protein, which brings her already 10% above herd average! Her high gTPI, gISU and great gRZG made Martini a perfect candidate to grew into the next gem of this cow family. In order to create additional high offspring she was flushed as a heifer to popular sires, such as AltaWheelhouse, AltaMagnifique and Parfect.
Through the 3STAR Embryo Program, Diepenhoek Holsteins invested in Martini's embryos, after which three AltaWheelhouse daughters are born. One of these daughters is the 2951 gTPI/912 NM$ scoring Diepenhoek 3STAR Tual (owned by: Diepenhoek Holsteins, De Oosterhof and GenHotel).
During the upcoming VOST Select Sale, on Friday, November 25th, this awesome heifer from the special bull dam family of Maybelline Tual will be sold! This week Tual's dam, the fancy and super uddered Martini, was as a recently calved milking heifer, jacked up and photographed.
