NRP Alisha RDC VG-86, great brood cow!
With the purchase of a young red carrier Seagull-Bay Supersire granddaughter of KHW Goldwyn Aiko RDC EX-91 the success within the Red Holstein breeding started for NRP Holsteins. With this purchase Norwin Piet acquired a heifer from the world's most famous American cow family of Kamps-Hollow Durham Altitude RDC EX-95. NRP Alisha RDC VG-86 was born out of a flush with EDG Rubicon x Australia. A great brood cow that, as it turns out, delivering amazing Red & White offspring!
During a recent classification day at NRP Holsteins, four daughters of NRP Alisha RDC VG-86 were scored at the dairy farm of the Van Der Leeuw family; the location where Piet houses his females. They also have some cows co-owned. First calver Luck-E Awesome-Red daughter NRP Awesome Amberlee-Red was the highlight of this classification. With a maximum score of VG-89 for DS and MS, her total score came to VG-88! On paper, she promised to produce high componements, and she keeps her promises! Amberlee's 305-day lactation is projected at 9,042 kgs milk with 4.57% fat and 3.74% protein!

From a flush Mr Salvatore RDC x NRP Alisha RDC VG-86 no less than 12 descendants are born, NRP Amelia being one of them. Amelia tests great in several genomics systems and is scored GP-84 as a 2-yr-old. One of her full sisters Batouwa Ailisha Salva Red is well known within the Red Holstein circuit and managed to sell several embryos partly because of her genomics profile. In the meantime Ailisha has already 9 red daughters over 2600 gTPI and also a red carrier Progenesis Watson-daughter scoring 2751 gTPI!

The purchased of FG Saphira-Red by Piet and Van Der Leeuw is classified in her second lactation with a great score of VG-87. At the VOSt Select Sale 2016 they bought this Mr D Apple Diamondback RDC x VG-86 Scientific B Defiant RDC, coming from a deep German cow family.
