Highlight Sale 2021 purchase Mironna shines in the UK
3STAR OH Mironna VG-87
During the 2021 Highlight Sale, the young heifer 3STAR OH Mironna was sold by her breeders De Oosterhof and GenHotel. The Silverridge V Einstein daughter attracted the attention of several potential buyers in the run-up to this auction, but it was the AI organisation Cogent, which finally struck and ensured that Mironna left overseas to the United Kingdom.
An interesting purchase was 3STAR OH Mironna due to her very high indexes in multiple systems: 706 gPLI, 35 NTM, 3472 gLPI, 2838 gTPI and 4316 gPFT! The Einstein daughter comes from the cow family of Seagull-Bay Oman Mirror VG-86 and Roylane Socra Mira 1760 EX-91, the full sister of the proven Robust, dam of bulls S-S-I Epic Midnight & Mayflower and granddam of Plain-Knoll King Royal, Jaguar and Lenovo. In addition to these well-known bulls, the globally popular daughter proven S-S-I Montross Duke also descends from this family. Mironna's dam is Rubi Agronaut daughter K&L OH Mirror, which has been of a major influence for the joint breeding program of De Oosterhof and GenHotel.
Mironna herself was flushed by owner Cogent and produced two daughters over 3000 gTPI: Cogent B Captain Mariah (by Captain, 3087 gTPI) and his full sister Cogent B Zazzle 16501 with 3043 gTPI. At 2.03 years old, the Einstein daughter calved and produced in 305-days 10.259 kgM with 4.46% fat and 3.57% protein! She was classified in her first lactation with VG-87.
